Seljalandsfoss, Skógá river. Iceland

The Seljalandsá River, the 'liquid river', drops about 60 meters in what was once a breakwater over the ocean (which is now several kilometers away) and which today marks the boundary between the Highlands and the rest of the country. It is possible to climb the slope of the waterfall and contemplate the panorama from the point where the water is thrown into the void.

Seljalandsfoss is located in the southern part of the island, not far from Skógar or the Skógafoss waterfall, on the Skógá River.
